This is the classic lifestyle-change property for buyers wishing to settle in the south of France into comfortable and interesting surroundings. The Minervois vineyards, the Canal-du-Midi and a typical mediaeval village are all in front of the door, while the UNESCO heritage site – the Cité de Carcassonne – is just 15 minutes away. Our opinion:

There is something for everyone in this delightful, canal-side business. As a lifestyle-change property it offers a superb home with extensive grounds and 2 well-appointed gites to generate more than enough to cover costs. For more ambitious buyers wishing to extend the business there are numerous opportunities: the building land, the boathouse and access to the Canal-du-Midi all open up boundless possibilities – boat trips, cycling holidays, cycling hostel (enormous demand for overnights from cyclists ‘doing’ the canal) and low-season ‘theme’ holidays. Above all, the property is in perfect condition (and I mean PERFECT) without a leaf out of place. Must be visited …
